Finished Unfinished
Schubert famously never finished his Eight Symphony. Renowned musicologist William Carragan took up the challenge, mostly using Schubert's own work to fill in the gaps. Plus: Anton Bruckner wrote his Symphony in F minor and stashed it away, never to be played in his lifetime.

About the event
Bruckner: Symphony in F minor
Schubert: Symphony no. 8 “Unfinished” (completion by William Carragan)
William Carrragan’s inspired completion of Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony gives a peek at what might have been. Bruckner’s F minor symphony, sometimes called 00, is the first one he wrote. It was never performed in his lifetime, receiving its premiere only in 1924 – what would have been his 100th birthday. We’ll celebrate his 200th birthday with this early example of the composer’s greatness.
